Involvement of Grass-root Local-leaders in Creating a Supportive SRHR Environment for Girls and Young Women.

Entebbe Municipality local leaders held round table talks on adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR), reaching out to 14 leaders. Notable was Nagadyia Allen, a teenage mother turned successful businesswoman and youth leader. Allen uses her experience to motivate and educate others. The local Resilient Women’s Organization supports girls and young women in realizing their potential, regardless of challenging circumstances like early pregnancy. They also combat harmful traditional practices and injustices like child marriages and early unions.
